I am a seasoned experience designer whose skills span the entire product design process from end to end, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, user testing, detailed product specifications and everything necessary to ship a high quality product on time.
In 2010, with a decade of experience working in industrial design, retail planning, architecture and steel fabrication, I began studying UX and interaction design in evening and weekend classes. In 2013, I took a calculated leap and decided to make a full career change to UX and interaction design.
I have 7 years of design education, but I'm all about applying that learning to real projects, solving challenging problems and delivering exceptional finished products.
I dream up big ideas, but I am also a maker of many things, wielding interactive digital prototypes or power tools as befits the project at hand. For many years, I have been distilling conceptual ideas into executable designs, whether they be in digital or physical space... or at the place where the two run together.
Outside of work, I am passionate about making and selling products on Etsy, weightlifting, downhill skiing, four-wheeling, camping... and anything else off the paved path.
